Has anyone else out there heard any rumors about a movie from Piers Anthony's world Xanth?

I loved this series of books as a teen - although there are so many iterations now I stopped reading at around #19 more or less.

I do enjoy some of his more sci-fi'sih stuff.

Great book series and I have heard rumors on and off for many years of films coming.  Hopefully someone who knows the books and treats them well will tackle at least the first trilogy.

Wow, I haven't heard of these books for a while. I've read quite a few but nowhere near all of them. I read them in mys 20s or 30s I think but still enjoyed them.

A well done film would be great.

I know it's unnusual here but I don't have a podcast of my own.

There was also some talk of a movie version of Anthony's 'Death Rides A Pale Horse'.  That was the first of a pretty good series of books.

I loved this series as a kid.  I remember especially liking Ogre, Ogre.  I almost feel like it'd work better as a family-oriented tv series...

I also wonder if the lousy performances of The Golden Compass and Prince Caspian might cause projects like this to fall apart...

The worse hatchet job I have seen was on 'Wizard of Earthsea' - if you saw the TV version.  I loved the LeGuinn books - that show was a different story.
