Here is my custom brace for my broken elbow.

You have 20 seconds to comply. ;)

Wow that is quite the brace! What is the assembly hanging off the bottom for? Is it just to allow you to prop up your arm without pain?

iceman

It is used to stretch the elbow without putting strain on the ball joint, it costs 800.00 a month to rent and 8000 to buy because of the exclusive patent on it

Wow! Ok so there's a mechanism in the box. Quite the piece of technology.

Not very comfortable to wear, as I broke the radial head joint of the elbow, so that is why they need to use this brace, as it is a very trickey injury to fix.

Can you remove it for showers etc or do you have to have your arm out of the bath. My mate had a similar thing on the whole of his leg, that was an awesome bit of kit.

iceman

It is only worn three times a day for a half hour at a time as it can still cause a lot of pain as it stretches the muscle tissue around the elbow allowing the elbow to bend.

Fell off a stool trying to get rid of some raccoons up on the rafters in the garage, fell and broke my elbow and four ribs. Looks like this round went to the raccoons.

billybob476

We'll get you next time raccoons!!!

WOW!  OUCH!  Sorry to hear about that.  Did this just recently happen to you?
