Character History:
Margon is on his second career.  The first was the master gardner at the planetary launching station on the Bolarus homeworld.  Here he met many Starfleet officers and space travelers whom he enjoyed long conversations while tending the grounds.  It is also here where he began to long for more in life.  After an spiritual epiphany he announced to his wives that he was enlisting in Starfleet and was to become a ships counselor!  They disagreed with him and pleaded for him to remain on Bolarus, but after much discussion and a pretty hectic year, Margon left for Starfleet Academy.  The first two years he tried to maintain a relationship with his wives, but when they had an affair he divorced them.

He found that he really enjoyed his time in Starfleet, that it was very fulfilling.  Not only was he able to help with the grounds, but was learning so much about counseling from Retelly, the grandson of Boothby the famous master Gardner at Starfleet Academy.  Retelly had taken his grandfather's place upon his retirement.
   
After graduating from the academy Margon served aboard a few Starships and worked his way up the ranks until an opening for counselor was made available on the Arabella.  Only three months before his assignment to the ship Margon rescued a Bajoran boy from his abusive father J'dan Marley.  He adopted the 12 year old and brought him to live with him on the Arabella.  Their relationship is trying, even though Margon is good with children, this age is hard for both of them.  They are trying to adjust to their new situation in more ways than one.
