With the world-wide release of Star Trek in theaters today (May 8), The History Channel will be airing the documentary Star Trek "Beyond The Final Frontier". This will be the world premier in high definition on History Channel HD. It will air on the regular History Channel as well.

This is a fun look into the history of Star Trek, the fan phenomenon, conventions and showcases the Paramount Pictures auction at Christies. The documentary is hosted by Leonard Nimoy and includes numerous interviews with cast and crew members.
