They are thinking of transplanting carnivorous ants to keep down the toad population.

I'd say they are plain crazy, but the article indicates it's a native species of ants.
Which rises another question: Why do people go to Australia voluntarily?
Their lethal wildlife became sort of a running gag on cracked...
