New Big WOW patch

Hey, I just got the big new patch for WOW, and when I logged in I had no sound?  Kind of weird.  Joe or anyone else playing - any issues for you yet?

With moving and being away I haven't logged in just yet. I assume you have sound everywhere else?

I probably don't have to tell you, but step 1 is reboot. Step 2 would be turn on and off the sound in WoW's settings. Step 3 would be update and/or reinstall sound drivers.

No one on the Instance/ELR forums are reporting sound issues as far as I see.

I just rebooted and will try again.  This patch did some very odd things on the install and when I started the game.  I'll let you know what happens when I log in again now.

Well - seems fine now - sound is back.  But that was weird.  Never have had a lick of trouble with the game, sound or anything like this before.

Well, 3.1 s a BIIIG patch. Maybe they did some optimization to the sound engine.

The login loading bar really screams by fast now.  They have definitely optimized some code.

I hope to be able to login sometime this week! I wanna dual spec my priest!
