Oh, right, the Skype call where Rico throws ME under the bus when I am not around to defend myself! Coward! ;) It really does look like an Apple Store...but not as cool.  ;D
It wasn't under the bus, more like onto the third rail while a train was incoming.

Yeah, thanks for stepping up to the plate to defend me! :) It's not my fault you guys are so frackin' easy to please! That bridge is crap.  :smilie_bleh:
All things considered I like it much better than the TOS bridge. I also, to this day, still can't believe that the TOS bridge and the TNG bridges were the exact same size. Was the missing space on the TOS bridge taken up by someone's ego?

Boy - some of you really should have sent in some audio for the podcast.  Spent like 3-4 minutes sending me your thoughts.  I got Rick, Mike and mine on the podcast for this week.  I had no idea Nemesis had such a variety of opinions.  Next time - send me your thoughts!  It makes for a much more interesting podcast.  One of the reasons I try and announce what I will be discussing weeks in advance.  Plenty of time to record a comment or two and send them to me.

Sorry Rico, kinda fell behind, if I had noticed you were doing Nemesis sooner (which is my fault only) then I would have done something.

Next time =)

I really enjoyed this week Podcast, and Nemesis is probably one of my more favorite TNG Trek movies. I guess the main thing for me, was that it felt more like a Movie then a few of the other TNG movies that came of a bit episodic at times. I do agree with some of the criticisms of the movie, like how Shinzon never really felt like a clone of Picard to me, or at least I just never bought it. As well, the whole Data/B4 story line did not really connect with me either, but a lot of the other elements in the movie I quite liked. I feel bad this movie sort of got the short end of the stick and blamed for killing the Trek Movie franchise. I think a lot of it had to do with just getting swept up in the Lord of the Rings excitement and media blitz. I recall going to see Nemesis on Opening Night, and actually had to stand in a line for over an hour. But unfortunately for it, less then a week later, I think the Final Lord of the Rings movie opened on a Wednesday, so the Trek movie never even got a full week at the theatres before another Major movie was released. Maybe if it was released a few weeks earlier, things may have been different.
Liked Both Mikes and Ricks comments as well, as they offered different viewpoints and really rounded out this podcast.

Just finished listening and I think you did a great job high lighting the pro's and con's of this story, Rico. I agree that the battle was way too long and the Picard/Data escape and Riker fighting the Reman failed for me as well. The more dramatic scenes between Picard and Shinzon and the more touching stuff like the wedding worked much better.  But I mean, really? We needed to mind rape Troi to make this movie work?
