Naked Singularities

Okay, I was watching the latest episide of BSG when they brought up the concept. It was funny because I looked over to my wife and said. "Hey, I know what that is!" and the grabbed a science mag off the coffee table and showed her the visable blackhole theory. Had anyone else heard of this concept before the show?It is now one of my favorite astronomical events.
