Waffle On 4th Birthday Episode Competition

Hello and welcome to our birthday episode. Yes our little podcast has been going for four years and as a huge thank you to you wonderful listeners we have decided to do a competition episode. In this show we play twenty theme tunes, eighteen from television shows and two from films.  All you have to do is write down what you think they are (in order) and email us your answers to waffleonpodcast@gmail.com and those who get the most right (you don't have to get all of them) will go into a hat and we will pick a winner. The prize is a Waffle On mug and a goody bag.

Waffle On about Nigel Kneal the creator of Quatermass.

Ahoy and welcome to the good ship Waffle On. This month we chat away about the wonderful and much missed writer Nigel Kneale who is most well known for creating Quatermass. He was a pioneer of British science fiction and often over shadowed by the likes of Doctor Who and Twilight Zone. Kneale was a visionary and brought us some of the most dark and forward thinking science fiction ever created.

We also talk about Ripper Street, Derek, The Hobbit and why Die Hard 5 Die Boring is a real let down.

Waffle On about Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased)

Hello and welcome to this months episode in which Meds and Kell talk over Skype (sorry but it was either that or no show this month) about the classic detective series Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased). Made in 1969 and coming in at 26 episodes this series tells the tale of Marty Hopkirk coming back from the dead as a ghost and helping his old partner Jeff Randall solve crimes.
As usual we play the classic theme tune, and a surprise theme at the end of the show. Again apologies for the sound quality but Skype can be a bit hit and miss.
