Just got done watching last night's episode.  Wow.  This was a good one.  Pretty cool how things came together.

My favorite lines:  "We aren't going to Guam are we?"

"How can you read?"
"My mother taught me"

I thought the scenes in the church were excellent, and how Ben brought out the part about Thomas not being remembered for his Heroism, but rather his unbelief.  Very good writing.

Overall, an excellent lostish episode!

Yeah I loved that line! Ben gets so many good ones like that.

Once again, the pacing on this season is great. We keep progressing forward every week.
Finding out Locke killed himself I found quite hard to take for some reason. The 'suicide note' was very sad too. That being said I think it may confirm the theory that the newly dead can be channeled by Jacob. Christian Sheppard isn't Jacob I don't think but Jacob is talking through him and will do the same through Locke now.
Boy this is a good season!  ;D

I agree with both of you. Dangelus, I agree with your theory, it makes a lot of sense.

It was cool to see lepidas again, and I laughed as he looked exactly like an Airline Pilot.

Rick, I thought the scenes in the church were great as well, especially how they made that reference about not believing and that is what Thomas was remembered for, and they kept panning to the picture of thomas placing his hand in Jesus wound.

I laughed a bit as well, when they asked Ellie is Ben was telling the truth or not, and she said most likely not.
I am really puzzled with that reveal at the end regarding Jin in the Dharma van. Not really sure what to think, I am assuming that they are in the past somehow. I wonder when Locke left and turned the wheel under the orchid station, that he stopped the travelling, but left the losties in a different time then present. This is getting so interesting. Makes me rethink what time the original crash occured and maybe the island has never been in the same time as the rest of the world...
I loved the part when Hurley put on his blinders "Dude, better strap yourself in".

This season is like night-day with the first 3.  It will be hard when we get the cliffhanger in a few months.  All I ask is that everything is spelled out - Jacob, smokey-the-thing, Richard and lastly - not to be morbid but Ben has to die.
If I was Jack in the with church lady, I would have just slugged him
Where do I begin ??
FINALLY - Ben shows his true colors.  Think this will finally wake up Locke.  He has let one person after another take advantage of his kindness.  Still hard to keep track of things when they are so careful not to say exactly "when" everything take place.  So, the island can bring people back from the dead?  So Jacks father really is "alive".  Hmmmmm...
WOW.  A great episode.  Ben has finally showed his true colors.  The question is, what will happen?  I am LOVING this season.  Its just sooooo great.

Great episode.  Lots of neat moments.  One thing that still puzzles me though.  Did Locke dying change Jack's and everyone's mind about returning to the island?  That seems odd to me and doesn't quite add up.  At first they are all saying they don't want to go back, and then of course later they do - mostly because they decide to.  Still not sure what really changed their minds.

Really great episode Last night, Like everyone has said, Ben showed his true Colours.
I think I am even more confused about Charles Widmore then ever before. I just had him pegged as a bad guy, but now I am not as certain about that. I still don't think he is good, but I am not sure if he is as bad as I thought. He did send the mercenaries to the island who killed everyone they saw move.

Also, Locke going to Visit Walt, I thought was a nice touch. With Walt having dreams on Locke were cool, so he still has some vision into the future. Makes me wonder if Walt will make his way back to the Island at some point, maybe in the final season.

I thought it was funny when Hurley met Locke, and he thought he was dead and just a vision, I laughed. Sorry to see what happened to Matthew Abbadon, but at least got answers on him and who he was in that he worked for Widmore on different jobs. I suspect the actor is busy now with Fringe, so they might not want to include his character to much more in Lost.
My take on the rest going back to the island because Locke died, I think mostly if Jack decided to go back, then the rest would. Since Ben and Ellie were able to convince Jack, the rest sort of fell into line, and with Sun being told that Jin was still alive, that made up her mind. I think with all that happened to Jacks father's body on the island, and Jack having the visions of him on the island, that taking Locke back in similar fashion, Jack was taking a leap of faith in a sense.

Great episode but I am getting a little confused. Ben's actions seem to contradict themselves all the time. I guess that character will remain a mystery until the end...

I just got done watching.  A wild ride for sure.  Ben is such an intense character.  I like the Locke character,
the paradox is answered with his resurrection.
Paradox ?  Paradox ?   There are pardoxes in Lost ?  No way !!! :D

No one better say "Everything that has happened before will happen again".   Don't make me angry  :hulk

Dangelus

I want to know:
when the new plane crash is. From the dialogue it sounds that most of the original people vanished from the plane before the crash. Locke was ressurected and Ben was left with him for some reason but are they in the present? All this time travel is getting complicated!

The canoes! So there were 3 canoes and the pilot took one. Were there 2 or 3 canoes when the our guys took one? Maybe it is the pilot shooting at them? My brain hurts!
I'm loving this season!!  :biggrin

No, I believe that when John told Jack that his father said: "Hi" that Jack must have felt that maybe the island was worth going back to.  As Ben said, he had booked a round-trip flight when John told him the info.
Ah but the round trip ticket was to Australia.  The flight back to island was originally going to Guam.

WOW!  What a cool episode tonight!
