Next Skype call..... 4/22/06

Ok, I want to setup another Skype call - like I did months ago. Been too long. My idea is either for this coming Friday night or Saturday. I'm leaning towards Saturday, April 22nd at 1pm EDT. Post here if you can make it. I want to limit it to 4 or 5 of us - at most. The topic will be "The Future of Trek." What we each hope for the next movie and or TV series. I'll be recording this for use on a future Podcast. I'm going to try and set this up at least once a month, so if you can't make this time there will be another. :phone

Ok, sounding good folks. I'll be on Skype this Saturday at 1pm EDT. Look for treksf on Skype then. I'll conference in those that are on and available. If you weren't in the last call let me know your Skype name so I can add you to my contact list there.

Actually, just found out I have a hockey try out at 1:30, and have to leave at 1:00 so I won't be able to come. I might record something and send it in though ;D

i'd love to do it, but i dont know anything about skype... can u tell me how this works.. (someone help, fast, thats only in a few days.)

Go here: http://www.skype.com/
Download it, install it and run. Easy as pie. You will need some type of headset with a microphone plugged into your PC so you can talk.

Sure Morex. Be glad to have you. My plan now is to start at 1pm and maybe go for about an hour. I'll setup the conference call and add folks as I see them. Kind of first come - first served. One thing to keep in mind is I will try to direct who is talking so we don't talk over each other too much. I'm looking forward to it.

I know the plan is to talk about one subject but to be honest we'll go off in different tangents, we always do. At least on the boards.
