Thanks guys - although I've never met any of you, I've been here long enough now that I do count you as friends. Strange, isn't it....

So, it's nearly arrived.... (still 39 until 10:30pm here - I'm clinging on!)

10:15am at the moment so time to get dressed and go out for the day with the family. Not sure where we're going, maybe down to the coast since it looks fine.

The big party's happening after Church tomorrow. My wife tells me we'll have about 50/60 people there. I'm not sure I know that many people!

Yesterday was great (except for the sheer amount of traffic in Brighton) and today's party was good fun. Saw too many people I haven't seen for years.

Now I'm waiting for the maturity and natural gravitas that goes with being 40 to finally settle into my being... Oh well, a man can dream can't he!
