I've decided to get a 'vintage' SLR camera as I really want to start getting back into photography, does anyone here have experience with the following cameras? What are they like in terms of durability, weight and ease of use?

Canon AE1
Minolta X370
Minolta X700
Olympus OM10
Pentax P30

Your advice and suggestions are much appreciated :):)
This question has baffled mankind for all eternity... why don't sheep shrink in the rain?

I knew a few people with the AE1.   I would have bought one in a sec if I had the money back in the "old days"

You need to go ask moyer777 he's got the photo knowledge.

I prefer the Nikon F series line. Nikorr lenses are also my favorite so I am not the person to ask for anything non-Nikon :)

I still prefer my Nikon F100 over any digital since the quality still is not as good. Yes, that is a huge argument still among photographers.
Ripley: Ash. Any suggestions from you or Mother?
Ash: No, we're still collating.
Ripley: [Laughing in disbelief] You're what? You're still collating? I find that hard to believe.
