No - this isn't my place.  A guy over on the Replica Prop Forum built a cool hidden door to hide access to his basement and collectible collection.  Great idea!  Maybe I'll do this someday...

Wow what a brilliant door, but then you go down and see the statues, Picard, Superman, Blade, Vader, Robocop but for me the working Ghostbusters proton backpack is just awesome. Great post Rico.

That is pretty cool hideaway he has for his collectibles. A lot of nice things down there, though I would be worried if I could not get that door open ;)

I was thinking that the entire time.... but cool nonetheless.

I think his wall needs repairing at the top of the stairs! Who was that on the RPF Rico?

Yeah, if the battery in his remote dies and the power goes out  (thus killing the panic button functionality) he'd be really in a bind.

Very cool, nonetheless. Who wouldn't want a secret passage that leads into a secret room?!

At my Aunt's house she had a bookshelf that is actually a door that opens to a closet, she keeps her vacuum, broom, and those kinds of things in there. When me and my brother were younger we thought it was awesome. We'd slip into the space behind the book shelf and hide there. It wasn't a self powered door though, we had to find the little finger hole to pull it out of the closet.

That guy has a pretty cool collection.  Very diverse too; I saw a Strike Freedom Gundam posed back there with his Godzillas.

Must be a pretty well behaved Iguana as well; didn't look like there was any door on its cage.  I'd hate to see it go 'cloverfield' on his miniature ships.  ;)
