So it's not a script by Aykroyd/Ramis?  I'm not sure how I feel about that.  The writing for Ghosbusters: the Video Game was written by them and I thought it was completely genuine, with a feel that I strongly doubt could be properly emulated by other writers.  We'll see I guess.

Bill Murray Confirms Ghostbusters 3 Spoiler
Source:Mail Online
February 8, 2010

When Sigourney Weaver was traveling the world promoting Avatar, she dropped a possible big spoiler about Bill Murray's character in Ghostbusters 3. Many doubted what she said, but it looks like she was right on the money as Murray said the exact same thing to Mail Online.

The following contains spoilers you may not want to know before you see the movie.

In the December interview, Weaver said: "I know that my little son, Oscar – who was kidnapped from me – I think he has grown up to be a ghostbuster," adding, "I might be in it and I see nothing wrong with being in it, although I don't think I will have a big part in it. I think Bill Murray has a little more to do with it - he might be a ghost."

And in the new interview, Murray says: "I'll come back in Ghostbusters III only if I get to be a ghost. I said to them, 'I'll do it if you kill me off in the first reel.' So now they are going to have me as a ghost in the film."

You know I can see that working. A smart ass ghost luring other ghosts into traps etc. I like it.

This should be a fun movie!!  I sure hope they can pull it off.   Can't believe we are creeping up on 30 years old for the first flic,,,such a classic.  I had a really cool homemade halloween Ghostbusters costume in the mid eighty's.

Yes, an 'Inside Man' in the other-world.

According to Dan Aykroyd they start filming in Spring '12 with or without Bill Murray. This has been talked about for so long I still won't believe it till they're on set.

My two year old son Ethan's favorite movies right now are Ghostbusters and Ghostbusters 2. It's on in our house every day now for the past month, and you've never seen anything cuter than a two year old dancing around singing "I ain't afraid of no ghosts".
