Pretty cool video, Jen. :)

I picked Dark Side Of The Moon from my library without thinking about it, and before I knew it, I'd listened to the entire album again.  Really good stuff.

Here's one of my favorites:

Nice. :)  Pink Floyd is awesome. Dave introduced me to them in college. One of his favorites is Brick In The Wall. "If you don't eat your meat, you can't have any pudding! How can you have any pudding if you don't eat your meat?!"

Pink Floyd is cool; some of the greatest music out there.  Very well-produced, multi-layered music, and very thought provoking lyrics.  Brick in the wall is great, but I think my favorite album of theirs will always be Dark Side Of The Moon.  Awesome album from beginning to end. :)

I picked up the Black Eyed Peas 2-disc delux set a few weeks ago, and I'm not tired of it yet.  I've been listening mostly to the remixes & bonus tracks on disc 2, but disc one still has some cool songs, like this one-

I was jamming on my bike ride to some awesome '80's cheese remake of an old song!

I heard this band on an old Weekend America podcast. They've got a great sound which I can't seem to fit into a particular genre. Rock/R&B? Idk.
Here's a link. I hope you like it. :)

Zim, I like their sound a lot.  Wonder if they'd come to Iowa for a show?  Didn't think so.

Bryan, thanks for getting that durn Spirit song in my head!

Man - this has to be one of my favorite new songs that I have found.  SyFy is using it on their new promos.

This one resonates well, especially on long, monotonous work days that never seem to end and at times when you're zombiing through the day. The lyrics resurfaced from just above the event horizon of my mind and wanted some attention, so I thought I'll post the song here. ;)

Ok I was listening to coverville #596 and this popped up. not sure about you American but we have this service where if you send a text message to a land line an automated voice reads it to the person on the other end.

Apparently over in the UK British Telecom got Tom Baker (of Dr. Who fame of course) to lend his voice to their service. I'm sure the UK peeps can confirm.

Someone took that and made this:

"Someone to Fall Back On" by Jason Robert Brown. JRB is one of my favorite composer/lyricists for the stage, and this song is just gorgeous. (The video begins with really, really bad sound quality, so feel free to begin at about 0:26 where the sound is much, much better.)

Mash-up of Nirvana and Rick Astley.  Kind of fun.  I poked around a little at http://fairtilizer.com/track/properding , but it looks like most of his stuff is too new for this old gal to be familiar with.
