This is a pretty cool item.  They did some giant sized Lego Star Wars figures - this Luke one is about 6 inches tall.  These are exclusive from Toys R Us and have been showing up on sale in stores.  They are also on sale online - but they add a chunk for shipping so I'm still checking my local stores for one.   :luke

They had shelves of these at the LEGO story in Walt Disney World. Not a good sign if people were expecting them to make more :)
Ripley: Ash. Any suggestions from you or Mother?
Ash: No, we're still collating.
Ripley: [Laughing in disbelief] You're what? You're still collating? I find that hard to believe.

Very cool!   Although the position he is holding the lightsaber is a bit.........   :smilie_nono:

AWESOME! I'm going there now! Do they have any other than Luke? Any Stormtroopers? I remember when these were being sculpted.

They were very much overpriced for sale in ToysRUs, which is why there are tons available still.  Originally $70, I picked it up for $28 when it went on clearance.

There are other figures, though X-Wing Luke was the only one carried by TRU.

Stormtrooper, Boba and Vader were all of them.

There were variants, also.  I think the Stormtrooper had Han's head, and Vader had Anakin's head.  There was also a Blackhole Stormtrooper.

Note that the 3d nameplate was just a sticker in the production version, at least on the Luke figure.

Jen

Do they still sell them? Where can I pick them up? I loved that game.

I know that I had seen these Lukes at my TRU's in Canada. I think they may have discounted it as well, as they were never moving at the time. The others like Dan said, where sold online, I think through Star Wars Shop.

Rico

They cost too much at first for me even.  Around $80 or so.  The Luke's should be discounted to around $25 or so now.  At that price I would do it.

Jen, I did the same thing, and the first result you get is the Han Solo variant, which is more than double the cost (still admittedly very high) of the regular stormtrooper maquette.
