What are your 3 most favorite arcade games?

Arcade games are not as popular as they used to be. Growing up, I remember wishing I had tons of quarters to feed into the game machines. Now that I do have some disposable money, I rarely go to an arcade anymore. However, I do have fond, nostalgic memories of my favorite games. My top three are:

1. OutRun--Driving cross-country in a red Ferrari while listening to a killer soundtrack along with your blond girlfriend has never been some much fun (or fast!).

2. Street Fighter II: Champion Edition--Man, I used to spend my bus fare money on this one; I'm glad the bus driver was my friend. There was nothing more satisfying than finishing off your opponent with Ryu's Shoryuken uppercut.

3. Daytona USA--"Daaaytonaaaaaaaaaa! Let's go away!" I liked racing against other people in this game. Simply fun.

What are your favorite arcade games?

Great topic...

Xmen: was a favorite of mine, I always played Storm and would kick butt

Tempest: I always loved that game.. I could play that for hours on end

And my most favorite of all time Arcade games..

Tron, I would love to have my own Tron game in my house.

I'm more a fan of the classics: remember Qix ?  What was the one with "INTRUDER ALERT"!  Missile Command but I couldn't handle the smart bombs.

We had a place in college called Pinball Petes - I spent way too much time there.

Ripley: Ash. Any suggestions from you or Mother?
Ash: No, we're still collating.
Ripley: [Laughing in disbelief] You're what? You're still collating? I find that hard to believe.

Ahhh - Asteroids.  Nothing comes close to the original.

I've never played Star Wars Arcade but it certainly looks cool.

OH! I lived Defender when I was growing up! It was my favorite game.

I also liked these Atari games:
Dodgem
Warlords (can still spank Dave at this game)
Raiders Of The Lost Ark
