I think they actually have pretty ok food.  I used to travel to Florida quite a bit and there was one near the water that had great fresh shrimp.

I went to the one across from eMagine once.  I remember seeing a number of older gentlemen -- looked like they been sitting there for like hours.  I was glad I ordered take-out -- :eekout

Dave took me there on one of our first dates... Said it was the only place available on the SA River Walk during the Texas Tech game at the Alamo Dome. It wasn't the food I didn't like. Not a good first date place... left a bad taste in my mouth, for lack of better term. ;)

Hooters is just Bennigans with boobs. Same crap food just shorter shorts. Now we have a place here in Tempe call The Library where all the waitresses dress like rejects from a Britney Spears video BUT they have the best personalities and really can work a table of guys. It's a lot of fun but I still won't eat all the fried junk on their menu either.

Go for the steamed shrimp Bryan.  At least that's what I used to get.  Not sure if that's on the menu anymore.  Been years since I've been there.
