I have talked about the Bargain Box on here a few times and the store recently moved to our mall. And they told me the rent was cheaper at the mall than what they paid in the strip mall they were at! I couldn't believe that would be the case. Well anyway they don't have as much room there so they don't have as many comics out but i got to go in the back room and I saw the had boxes stacked high and wide. So they have alot more just not a way to look through them. They got a store front right by the brand new Dick's Sporting Goods store so that was good planning by them. I of course hope they do well so they will stick around. Here is a pic of my latest finds which includes another V comic and 3 parts of the Star Trek: Nero 4 parter.

Great finds!  That Nero series was a good read.

now reading The Captain's Daughter by Peter David. Demora Sulu attacks the captain of the Enterprise B, who kills her in self defense. a good book so far.

Into  DS9 "Warchild". Slow going so far. I hope it picks up soon!

Just finished Slaughterhouse-5,  which was an excellent read, lived up to the hype.  Picked up reading Stranger in a Strange land, and that is not living up the hype so far.

Just started reading the next Sword of Truth book for me, "Stone of Tears" by Terry Goodkind.  Really good so far.

Love both books.  Billy Pilgrim lives!

SiaSL is an excellent book, but perhaps not as relevant as it was when first published.  I read it many years ago when I was a teen, and loved it.  Not sure how I would like it these days.

"Warchild" still slow going. I don't get through to many pages at a time. I want to finish this so I can go on to something else. Been reading magazines and comics too.

Not quite sure if you class this, but I have stared an audio book called enemy mine  from iTunes

i just got back from the book store and got a whole bunch of stuff for the holidays. there's spock's world, hundreds of starfleet academy books, the only question is where to start? :)

I just finished Day of the Triffids, a good invasion/horror type story.  Better than most of the schlock today.  And I just started Alan Alda's Never get Your Dog Stuffed because, well, I love Hawkeye.   MASH 4 Life.. lol

Ok I am really having trouble getting through the DS9 Warchild book. I have stopped a few days ago and got into some E-Books. They are both just in an E-Book format and are just a novella. I first read Star Trek "True Colors" and then Star Wars "One" which were both free downloads from Barnes & Noble. The one I'm reading right now is Star Wars "A Forest Apart" which was only $1.99 and written by Troy Dennings. It is a Chewbacca story and chapter one was good!

the book club is reading north of beautiful, it's a decent book so far.

"A Forest Apart" was really good. But it was too short. Started into "The Nitpicker's Guide for Classic Trekkers". I think I'm going to read each episodes section after I watch the episode. I did however read up to Mudd's Women which was the last episode I watched on netflix. I already read the Nitpicker's guide for DS9 and Vol. 1 of Next Generation.
I don't know how many of you read Star Trek: The Magazine but I was missing a few issues and I found a seller listing the magazines for 99 cents or a buy it now for $2.99. of couse in my excitment at finding them at a low price I did a buy it now on #37. I recieved it bagged and boarded! I bid on the others I wanted and got #29 & #30 plus the 148 page special and the Insurrection souvernier magazine. got them all for 99 cents each!! And all bagged and boarded!! The comic shop got me the latest issue of the magazine so the only one I need is #31. The newest issue I got from the comic shop is not pictured.
