Still into the the graphic novels from the library. Recently read
Green Lantern: The Sinestro Corps War Vol. 1. A 10 rating.
Green Lantern: The Sinsetro Corps War Vol.2. 10++ Awesome book.
Green Lantern: Secret Origin 8
Green Lantern Corps: Emerald Eclipse. Prelude to Blackest Night. 8
Superman/Batman: Vengeance. 7
Right now I'm back into Green Lantern with Agent Orange another prelude to Blackest Night. And I have 6 Blackest Night graphic novels here to read also. Great summer reading so far.

I just finished a dance with dragons and I'm going to probably give it a second read next week. Yeah, it was good, but I'm not happy about having to wait for more.

After ADWD I decided to stick with George RR Martin and re-read "Fevre Dream", which is his vampire novel published in '82. It's set in mid-19th century Louisiana on the Mississippi steamboats. It's probably one of the most unique vampire stories I've ever read. My wife got it used a while ago and I read it due to boredome and couldn't put it down. Check it out if you need a good page turner.

Just started Falling To Earth by Apollo 15's command module pilot Al Worden.

He was charged with inapropriate merchandising during the moon mission and was fired by NASA 9 months after completion of the mission.
"Although their action was not in any way illegal, and despite the fact that NASA had turned a blind eye to similar activities on earlier flights, the administration decided to make an example of Scott and his crew and none of them flew in space again" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Al_Worden

This is his story of his life and what transpired.

With the passing of the rock icon and founder of the group America, Dan Peek, I am reading his biography called "An American Band". Not too well written but does a decent job of giving his history and his conversion to Christianity after floundering in the rock scene.

"Oh...Well, Who am I to argue with me?" Dr. Bashir - Visionary - Deep Space Nine

Finished Agent Orange I give it a 7 and then read
Blackest Night - Tales of the Corps. An 8. Very very good Kilowog story in it. There was also a good Arisia story. A must read before the rest of the Blackest Night books.
Also read Blackest Night - Blackest Night I give it a 9.
If you can though get all the Blackest Night Graphic Novels at once because to read it in order you need to skip from book to book. I didn't do that and I already know how it ends. Oh, well. Still fun to read.
On Blackest Night - Grren Lantern Corps right now.

I took another trek to the bargain box and picked up some more cool comics. Got a 3 part Batman story based in the Else Worlds Universe. The Spiderman movie comic adaptation which has a cover like a paperback graphic novel! Going to try and collect the Tek World series so grabbed 4 of those. Also picked up some X-Men annuals. The  X-Men & Fantastic Four one was really good.
And something I found out  Friday when I was there! The 1st weekend of every month now is comics are only 25 cents!!!!! They have deals on other things too. But I go in for the comics! Can't wait till next Friday!! I might have to take 2 pics for next week!
Check out the ones I picked up this past Friday.

Those "Heir to the Empire" books are great. I want to check out that new Zahn book too. Maybe it could be my 1st full length nookbook download??

Finished Blackest Night: Green Lantern Corps. 9
Superman/Batman: Enimies Among Us. 8
Blackest Night: Green Lantern. 9
This Blackest Night series has been really good. Just try to read them in a better order than I'm doing. Also has anyone read Batman: Hush. I just picked it up at the library. It is all in black and white.

Dangelus

I've not started them yet but I spotted the box set (after a great reccomendation by Al on Highway To Mars) of Christopher Paolini's "Inheritance" pts 1 & 2, Eragon and Eldest.

Brand new for a crazy £2 for the set! Couldn't pass that up!
