Thanks!  8)

I got it as a 30th birthday present to myself. I was also going through a very difficult time in my life and I needed something to feel empowered. My dragon is a symbol of strength and courage for me. I had been through a lot in my 30 years so I wanted something very symbolic.

I also have a black and green yin yang on my upper right arm. That one was my first.

Speaking of Trek books, I just started the latest Vanguard book Declassified.

Have you read all the other Vanguard books Bryan? How do you like the new one and does it offer up anything that expands the series?

Hey Kevin, just wanted to add I am almost done with this book and LOVE IT. It's excellent.

turtlesrock that is one of my favorite Star Trek Books, ever! Loved it.
Finished Green Lantern: Revenge of the Green lanterns and Wanted: Hal Jordan. Both were very good.
And I noticed that the '52' storyline takes place in between the Green Lantern graphic novels I have been reading so I started the novel by Greg Cox during this past weekend. I'm on vacation this week so should be able to get through it pretty quick. The book is over 400 pages. So far it has been really good.

Just finished book 4 of Sword of Shadows by J.V. Jones. A really good fantasy series. Of course now I gotta do the waiting game until next year for the next one....sigh... oh well I am used to that by now.

Now.... tomorrow my lovelly Kindle with have A Dance with Dragons on it!!! Woot FINALLY!!! I am so psyched to start on this. From what I am hearing from some preliminary reviews it is worth the wait!

Yes it is. I am planning waking up a bit early tomorrow morning and getting some of it read before work, if it is available that early. It's the first time I have pre-ordered something for the Kindle from Amazon, so I am just assuming I will be there in the morning.

Roddenberry

An Epic Swindle: 44 Months With a Pair of Cowboys.

It's the story of Hicks & Gillett's tenure at Liverpool FC, it's not fun reading, as it details how something I love was nearly destroyed.

Duffster

Well Dance with Dragons was pretty awesome. It didnt make up for the 5 years of waiting, but wow it was good. Of course cliff hangers at the end are gonna drive me crazy until the next one comes out. Hopefully at lot sooner then 5 years.

Definitely a good,good book.

Now back to some lighter reading... TOS novel the covenant of the crown.

Finished 52 by Greg Cox. I give it a 8 out of 10. It was interesting how little the big 3 of the DC Universe were in this book. Huge Black Adam story if you are a fan of him.
Going to read Sci-Fi Magazine next and some more Green Lantern Graphic Novels.
