Once she's done searching for Earth, Katee Sackhoff will go in search of physical perfection on "Nip/Tuck."

The "Battlestar Galactica" star has signed on to a recurring role on the FX series She'll appear in four episodes of the show's forthcoming season, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Soap-opera vet Morgan Fairchild will also make a guest appearance on the show.

Sackhoff will play a doctor named Theodora "Teddy" Lowe who offers a challenge to Sean (Dylan Walsh). Which, presumably, means that Sean survived being stabbed by a crazed fan (Sharon Gless) of his TV show "Hearts & Scalpels," which is where the show left off in February.

"Battlestar Galactica" is currently in the midst of its fourth and final season on Sci Fi, with Sackhoff's Starbuck slowly cracking up as she leads a mission to find Earth. Though the show's finale is still a ways off -- there have been rumors that Sci Fi will split the 20 episodes into two blocks of 10 -- filming will be finished well before then, allowing Sackhoff to move on to "Nip/Tuck."

Sackhoff also had a recurring part on NBC's short-lived "Bionic Woman" last season and has appeared on "ER" and "Cold Case." She also played Richard Dreyfuss' daughter in "The Education of Max Bickford" during the 2001-02 season

Never watched this series.  But I'll have to catch Katee's episodes when they come out.
