Angela and I recorded a Miniskirt conversation about "Alice" today at lunch. I had to watch it on youtube the last few days, since I missed it when it aired this past weekend. The reason? I did not want to watch a rehash of "Tin Man" (which I DID NOT LIKE). It was a Cyberpunk spin on a classic novel. I like the concept, but if you're going to reboot a classic, it better be done right. I'm not as excited about it as Angela, but that's what makes our discussions fun. I just finished editing my interview with Rick Moyer. I sent it to Angela, who happens to be on vacation right now. It remains to be seen if she will put it up in a timely manner. Going to hassle her until she does. :D

We were nominated for another podcast award. Not holding our breaths on this one. We're up against Star Wars Action News among others, for 'best panel of podcast hosts' on the Star Wars Fanworks Network. Wish us luck. :)

I wish you could, LOL. Only members of the Star Wars Fanworks network and Galactic Senate forum can vote. They only allow people who've been members of the board for several weeks before the nominations, to vote. I'm fairly certain we're the only women members, aside from Silas Carder (AKA Sarah). Another reason we're Anomalies. :)

I just learned today that Anomaly was voted "Best Panel Of Show Hosts" by the Star Wars Fanworks community ( http://starwarsfanworks.com ). This is the second consecutive year we were given this award and we are VERY excited and extremely appreciative of the honor.

BTW, we share this award with Star Wars Action News, who tied Anomaly for this title. Congrats to Arnie and Marjorie as well!

Thanks. Star Wars Fanworks is a network, not just a community. You have to be a member of the network to be nominated. As for ForceCast... they were members up until last year. I've read blurbs here and there as to why they are no longer there. I'm not sure is the place to explain. You'll have to check out the Star Wars Fanworks forum to know why that's the case. :)
