Since I'm now level 70 in WOW - finally, I'm starting to do my daily quests for generating gold for my epic flying mount.  I found this good guide (link below).  Anyone that has been doing these at all with any advice would be welcome.   :knight

I'm not there yet but if you're looking for some authorities I'd go post over on The Instance forums!

Yeah, I searched and read through some of their posts.  Sounds like they have some pretty good routines.  One help to do these is I'm a mage and can port around a little easier.

True dat. Actually Rico, you inspired me, Earthen Ring was down earlier in the week so I rolled a gnome mage on a PvP server, it's a lot of fun! It seems like I'm running around so fast!

Hey,
Well, due to 2.4s patch, they are tons of Daily Quests and I mean, tons.  From the new island, to the fishing/cooking, and such, you could spend 2+ hours just doing daily quests.  However, even though your 70, you still don't have access to all daily quests, I could give you information on how to unlock the Ogrila dailies as well as the Netherwing dailies.  If you want.  The dailies on the new island are easy to get to.  Take a flight master from Ironforge and bang: lots of quests.  Grinding up a epic flyer mount was never so easy.  ;)

So if you want, I could make a short and simple list on all the new daily quests and how to unlock the old ones.

Hmm, upon further looking, that guide is actually decent.  One thing that I do is if you have the ability to do the cooking/fishing quests, I let that dictate what daily quests I will do other than the ones that are found in Shattrath.  Such as, one of the cooking quests requires that I go to Skettis and kill a bird and 3 warp stalkers.  Because of that, I will also do the 2 dailies that are out there.  If I do not have this daily, then I may not go to Skettis.  You can spend hours doing dailies so I try and restrict as best I can.  Also, a good idea is to do the quests in a "circle" of Outlands.  Such as going to Hellfire peninsula and doing the 2 quests in the "Throne of Kiljaden".  Then heading north to Netherstorm and doing the Blood Elf Attack Plans, then going west to Blade's Edge, and so on till you complete a full circle back in shattrath.  A note!  Most of these new quests in the outlands will almost always drop a green armor piece.  So if your an enchanter, this is a GREAT way to get the materials.  (They also can drop a badge of justice but thats an entirely different topic).  Or, collect them up then have a friend Disenchant them.  Materials for you to enchant your gear!

Oh a note on the new island.  If your on a PVP server like I am, the horde will probably gank you.  (My server seems to have a war going on every other day).  Also, try and do your quests in a sort of "line" through the island.  Less time traveling = $$$.  One possible way is this:
Do the bombing quests first. (1-2 depending on how far your Server has progressed)
Then go kill the robots and weakened Blood elves on the left side of the island till your done.
Do the Key-line quest in the building on the west side of the island.
If you've progressed far enough, kill the Blood Elves as neccessary.
Go the North-Center part of the island and kill the demons and do the Key-line quest.
Go to the east part of the island and kill the Naga if needed and do the Key-line quest.

And done!  It sounds hard, but once you figure out where everything is, its quite simple, easy, and lots of $$$.  Also, the Shattered Sun reputation can help your gear and professions depending on what you are.

Anyway, thats what I do.  Of course, I use an epic flying mount already so the slower mounts may have to do something else.  Up to you!

Good luck

I stopped playing WoW before they rolled out the daily quests.  Everything I heard about them though seems to indicate they are a fantastic way to make boatloads of gold.  You can tailor your daily quest schedule to fit your exact needs, whether you are shooting for something specific, like gold, faction with a particular group, or one of the epic flyers.  And it is pretty easy to meet any of these goals with only a short amount of solo play time, 45 min to an hour a day, for only a couple weeks or close to it for whatever it is you need.  A nice addition for the casual players and hardcore alike.

I gave it a little go this past weekend.  That new island zone is packed with people on my server (Earthen Ring) so it makes it a little bit of a pain.  I also noticed the old quests I still had in my log when I hit 70 all yield good amounts of gold now (10gp or more).  So I'm going back to finish off some of those too.

Yea, when you hit 70, the old quests no longer give XP and instead will give you much more gold.  Nice if you skipped an area and want to go back.

As to Jody, yes, I fully agree with the daily quests as it does the following:
1.  I have more $$.  Can't deny thats good.
2.  It keeps gold seller buyers down.
3.  The Market is better.

Blizzard made a wise decision in putting them in.  They can get repetitive, but with the enormous amount of daily quests available, you can always do some and put the others off.  Either way, its gold.
