The WB Returns

Just when they thought they were out, they get pulled back in! The WB Network, which was gobbled up after it and UPN merged to form the cable network called CW is getting some new life on the web according to, The Hollywood Reporter

Warner Bros. Television Group plans to resurrect The WB television network in the form of a new Web site. Called wb.com, the site will be intended mostly to allow for streaming of older episodes of shows like "Gilmore Girls," "Everwood," and "What I Like About You."

What hasn't been made clear yet is whether or not shows like "Buffy, the Vampire Slayer" or "Angel" will be made available for download stream. However, it only makes sense that two of WB's past highest rated shows will make it on the list.

wb.com should see its Beta launched in April.

"We're in the process of developing several Warner Bros.-branded Web destinations and will announce all the details in the coming weeks," Warner Bros. TV Group said in a statement.
