William Shatner again!

It's always amazed me how the Shat can weasel his way into so many venues and some that he really has no talent for (like writing books). Anyway, I came across this Brad Paisely video called Celebrity and low and behold there is the Shat! Take a look. The song isn't too bad and Shatner's part is somehwhat funny.

I do not know why he is associating with this artist.  I've seen him in many of this guy's music videos but why he is in there confuses me.  I'm not attacking him I'm just wondering...why?
