Has anyone heard that Hiro will not be back for the second season?  It was announced in TV Guide (I think) that he is taking that season off for some reason and will be back probably in season three.  I hear he is going to go on some adventure with his 'future self' (which totally contradicts all known rules about time travel and what happens when you hook up with yourself but oh well...)

If this is true, I will be disappointed.  The new tag line "someone flies. someone dies" ib the Heroes web site would make it appear that someone will die in tomorrow's episode but I heard in a podcast that the death may not occur until the March 5th episode.

Last thing: if you don't read the online graphic novels, you need to.  They always have interesting backstories.  The latest one shows Sylar using the 'freeze power' from the pilot episode and confirms he has Charlies' edectic memory.

Was she a hero?  I mean, I thought they were going to off a hero.

Maybe she had a power she didn't know about and we'll see it in bomb boy at some point?  The telekenisis thing, perhaps.

Nice episode.

Well they killed the new hero with the super hearing (damn! now Sylar has that ability).  And they killed Simone -- poor Isaac.  I wonder if this will put a final nail in his relationship with Peter...

Peter can fly! WooHoo!  But he lost his mentor.... hmmm.  And Claire is not afraid of dear ole Dad any longer now that her Mom is definitely suffering from too many mind wipes.  Or, perhaps the problem is that she had a concussion at the time of the mindwipe which caused her problem...

Anyways, next week should be an awesome episode.  We learn the history of HRG and maybe we get to see Nathan and Jessica mix it up.

Oh yeah!  And we finally get to see Hana hook up with Ted and then the two of them hook up with Matt in the graveyard as they conspire against HRG.  So when HRG and family get home, they get a surprise cuz Matt and Ted show up to 'get some answers.'

And, our buddy Hiro uses his power to turn back time to keep from getting shot by the showgirl/  But because Ando had his eyes shut, they don't know if Hiro saved them or if the showgirl's gun misfired (Hiro did use his power).  So we know he still has the power but has perhaps a confidence problem preventing him from using it like before (kinda like Spiderman II...)

Anyway, look out for Episode 18... I hear Linderman makes his first appearance and we meet a new 'hero'....

I'm with Kenny....OMG!  That was the best episode yet!  I love how everything is pulling together now.  Some very cool stuff.  Oh, and Sylar must die.  He's such a bad guy!

OMG!!!!!!! Peter rocks!!! (I know, he was a little evil, but still....)

Q: How does Sylar gain control of all of his powers? i doubt the invisible man trained him...

I think Peter just absorbs them unknowingly. Sylar studies them and figures out how they work.  But after this weeks episode.. I think Peter is getting the hang of them.

yeah... i'll say... lol THAT WAS AMAZING!!!!!!!

Looks like the super hearing ability is going to mess up Sylar pretty hard.  It would seem pretty clear that his greed for power is going to be his downfall sometime soon.

Peter getting the hang of his powers is amazingly compelling, I really like this young actor that plays him.  He was pretty good in Rocky Balboa if I remember, with a pretty limited script to work with.

I'm just kinda scared for Mohinder... once he figures out who sylar really is (if he ever does figure out... sry, but Mohinder just kinda annoys me), he's gonna be in serious danger...

I could easily see Mohinder asking "Zane" to many questions, especially now that the hearing thing is bugging him...

Next week should be cool.  What I love about the show is the fact that the person you like one week, you may not like the next week.  Right now I have a lot of sympathy for HRG and don;t much care for the way Parkman is acting.....3 weeks ago when they raided the "paper factory" my feelings were reversed...if that makes any sense.

Man I love this show....and supposedly we are gonna get some answers this week.

Anyone been to iesb.net today?  They have some nice video clips from Monday's episode as well as some video interviews of key cast members.

Same thing in my house.  If one of us can't remember "Peter Petrelli", we just call him Jess and the other knows what we mean.
