I guess this video was made in response to concerns about the new movie breaking continuity.  A few of the "mistakes" can be explained.  I find a lot of it funny.  I'm actually disappointed in myself for missing a few of them.

Cool video, there sure have been a lot over the years.

great way to end the montage too, fun video!

Wow, I completely missed the beard thing.  Talk about noobie.  As for the emotion chip, we all assume he would have upgraded it by that time with the borg encounter.  The borg ship itself blowing up was because Picard knew of a weak point.  The whole thing with Picard going nuts in the movie could be that he....didn't quite recover.  Old wounds are hard to heal.  The borg invasion on Picard is explainable.

Thanks for the video link Ronald; very cool.

Some of those inconsistencies are hard to explain, but I'll take a stab at Data's changing ability to swim--
maybe he upgraded himself to include the "floatation device" feature after his earlier mishaps with water?

Here is an explination for all of it. At the end of First Contact a new timeline had been created that slightly changed things in the series. It may have even changed the size of the ship.

So all of those show to movie changes are directly blamed on them going back in time and creating the Archer timeline that ended up changing time weekly.

Ha Ha, funny video.  But that's a small price to pay for a TV and film empire that goes for so many years.

Well I was finally able to watch the entire thing. A lot of that can be explained, but some of it is poor writing, but always keep in mind there have been quite a few writers over the past 20 years they are bound to get things wrong, they're only human. If you really think about it.. after hundreds of episodes and four movies that's wasn't too bad for continuity mistakes.

Kind of makes me wonder why James Dohan didn't say, this isn't going to work because of a line I said on my TNG episode.

Or about Frakes saying, I kissed you with a beard.

I can understand most of those mistakes happening, but I can't comprehend how Frakes could forget kissing Marina Sirtis all those times.

As others have said, most of those have been explained away over the years.  Several of the kissing Riker with a beard times were when Troi wasn't herself, alternate timelines, etc.  Defeating the Borg cubes was due to a lot of what they learned over the years from Picard and other encounters.  The Scotty Kirk thing has had a couple ideas.  First, Scotty was simply disoriented after all that time in the transporter.  He was so used to Kirk pulling them out of trouble over the years he figured this was just another one of those times.  Again, this is fun to watch but some of it is out of context.
