NEW FORUM (moved the old one)

Well, gang the new forum is up! After weeks of terrible slowness with Powweb I was at the end of my rope - so to speak. Basically, I've moved the forum to a new host/web site. Make sure to set your bookmarks. Couple of things might be a light funky still, but so far I think all is working. Post here any issues you might have. A few related things:

1) I've been fooling around with phpBB (a different forum type). If this one is still kind of slow at all here we might try that one at some point. I want to see how it goes for right now.

2) I've dropped a couple of things (like arcade) for now. I want to keep the forum kind of streamlined for right now.

3) The old forum will remain up for a little bit in a "read only" mode. If you need to check something or copy something over.

4) The look of this new forum may change a little over the next day or so. Going to experiment a bit with some new templates, etc.

Think that's about it for now. Hope you enjoy the changes and please let me know if you think this forum responds better and more quickly from now on. That was the main reason for the move.

I like the stream line thing...the more bells and whistles the slower the load time. :)

Oh one thing...is there a way to set up the board so it still uses the same size avatars? Mine now shows with a scroll bar below.

The scroll bar is probably showing because of the width of the mesh template (or your screen resolution). Click the 95% button at the top right to fill the screen more. That should fix it for you.

Great job Rico.. been away all weekend moving so I haven't had a chance to check out the new site.. so far I'm loving it.. and it seems to be moving much faster...
