Battlestar

Is anyone else Sad that this is Battlestar's last season.  I feel that it is the best show on TV right now.  I love the writing and the acting.  Season 3 was a little off course but still better than the other crap we have to watch.  Just my opinion.  Whats yours?

Yeah I'm loving BSG, and I'm sad that it's ending but I am glad that they are going out on there own terms. They know it's going to end and can conclude it properly. Most sci fi /fantasy TV shows get cancelled way before there time and we never get a conclusion, recent examples Firefly, Invasion, Threshold and Surface.

I do agree that there is alot of bad TV, but there is still good out there. Heroes, 4400, Kyle XY, Jericho, Stargate Atlantis, Doctor Who, Flash Gordan.. oh wait scratch that last one :) And there a few interesting ones starting this fall.

There's a working theory that part of the problem was RDM wanted a garuntee of a 5th season and SciFi wasn't willing to commit for sure without having seen how the ratings for the 4th season went.

So rather then write a 4th season and then renegotiate for season 5, RDM is just ending with 4.  But... SciFi wants some epi's to show in the 5th year so there's that rumor that they'll only do 10 episodes in 08 and the last 10 in 09.

My money says that if RDM is smart he'll "wrap it up" but he'll leave himself room for expanded universe movies or books.
