Death of Superman cartoon...

This was advertised the last few days on WideOpenWest cable.  I guess its based on the comic of the same name.  Comes out on DVD and OnDemand Mon or Tue.

Anyone hear about this ?

Yes - I heard about this awhile ago.  Looks really good.  I'll be buying the DVD.

This is the first of a string of direct-to-DVD movie adaptations of memorable DC stories.

I'm really looking forward to this.  I know they're making many changes to the original comic book story for time considerations and the differences in format (it was a year-long weekly story in the comics), but I think it'll be good.  I have great confidence in the people behind this, especially Bruce Timm.

As a side topic, I've been enjoying the Marvel animated features too.  The last one about Doc Strange was very good!
