Since I am a classic film lover my favorite non-sci-fi would all fall into this area. They would be as follows:

1. Singin' In The Rain (1952)
2. Gone With The WInd (1939)
3. Casablanca (1942)
4. Show Boat (1951)
5. The Adventures Of Robin Hood (1938)

I can name many many more and it would be fun to break these down into genre like comedies, drama, action etc.
