Top 5 Favorite Fantasy Movies

Well since we did Sci Fi TV, Fantasy TV, Sci Fi Movies .. I had to start a thread for Fantasy Movies.

1. Harry Potter Movies (Order of the Phoenix is my fav)
2. Lord of the Rings Movies (Fellowship of the Rings is my fav)
3. Willow
4. Superman 1 & 2
5. Krull
6. Princess Bride
7. X-Men Movies
8. Spiderman Movies
9. Fantastic Four Movies

Okay I'll stop.. I can go on and on.

Another Tough one
1. Indiana Jones Movies (could be action but have fantastical elements)
2. Lord of the Rings ( The Two Towers my favorite)
3. Sleepy Hollow
4. Batman Begins
5. Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon

Honourable Mentions: Back To the Future (Could be  Sci-Fi, Spider-man 2, First Batman, The Scorpion King (Probably on people least favorites list, but what can I say, I like the Rock)

My favorite fantasy films would be as follows:

1. The Wizard of Oz (1939)
2. Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1938)
3. Lord of the Rings - entire series (2001 - 2003)
4. Pirates of the Caribbean - entire series (2003 - 2006)
5. Star Wars - entire series (1977 - 2005)


I can't separate series. Sorry! And yes you see right! Star Wars is FANTASY not sci-fi!

Yep, I agree. There are so many.

I have a problem ranking anything in order. Each means something special to me.

How could I have forgetton Labyrinth and Legend.. both fantastic fantasies.

Does anyone remember the movie The Explorers? It was a movie where three kids build a spaceship and go exploring. Awesome fun movie. Check it out!
