Saw this very cool pic on www.space.com  Here are the details:

A total lunar eclipse took place on August 28, 2007. This image of the event was taken by James W. Young, at his home in Wrightwood, California. This location was ideal for viewing, as the timing of the eclipse gave viewers in Pacific Rim regions the best show.

Young told SPACE.com that the image was taken with a 10-inch f/4.5 reflecting telescope, and a 20D Canon digital SLR. The image is a 20-second exposure at ISO 100 around 3:25 AM PDT.

"It was a beautiful night for an eclipse ... warm, and no wind. The moon was a beautiful copper-red color at mid-eclipse," said Young, who by day works as the resident astronomer at JPL's Table Mountain Observatory.
