Haven't asked in awhile but who is currently reading any comics?  Some of my current favorites:  Spider-Man (Ultimate and Amazing), Batman, Buffy, Fantastic 4, Gen 13, New Avengers, the Star Trek books, Runaways, Uncanny X-Men, and a few others.  Think I'm going to drop a couple of other titles that are not doing it for me lately.  So what are you reading in comics?    :spidey

I am Reading The TNG comic series which gets better and better for me. Star Wars Dark Times series which I am not really enjoying that much, but plan on finishing. I am reading a small series called the Power of Valkryie which I am enjoying quite a bit. Plan on Starting on a Superhero one in the fall hopefully, maybe something from the list you are reading Rico.

New Avengers and Amazing Spidey are my favorite Marvels right now.

I'm enjoying the Star Trek: Blood Will Tell mini.

I'm reading and enjoying a bunch of DC books, too many to list.

Buffy's been great.

I'm still enjoying Highlander and Lone Ranger from Dynamite.

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and Legacy have been great, some of the best SW comics ever.  I'm behind on Dark Times, though I enjoyed the first issue.

With school, work and family and a crazy summer schedule, I'm way behind on some books, though I try to keep current at least on the ones mentioned above.

Been thinking of getting that Lone Ranger book.  I think there is a trade paperback of the first issues now out.  How do you like it?

Dan M

It's really good, not exactly the old Clayton Moore series.  The tone is harsher, which I like.  The story is "decompressed" as is the trend, but it's a good read.

I just read the TNG: The Space Between minseries - I liked the first 5, but I have to admit the last issue just has me scratching my head.

I'm reading Buffy and TNG right now..

I'm also finding these older comic books online. People are scanning comic books into PDF and CBR files. It's pretty cool.

Has anyone read Mouse Guard by David Petersen? It reminds me of the Redwall cartoon series on PBS (I didn't read the novels) which I liked a lot despite not having seen all the episodes. Over the past two months I've been thinking about getting the hardcover TPB, Mouse Guard: Fall 1152. But is it good?

Ahh - you have discovered the little secret of scanned online comics.  I really wish Marvel and DC would start doing more digital download type comics.  I'd read more titles each month if they didn't cost $3 each.  They need the "iComics" store to start up!

any tips on finding some of the comics online?  besides google?

I am reading almost too much. I read most Marvel and most DC and Most Starwars. That and my novel a week reading schedule is some times a little more than I can do, but thankfully I have TIVO to watch my shows at my time and not miss out on any of my reading.

I read Watchmen a few weeks ago and loved it. It was really my first comic. I just got Kingdom Come, Dark Knight Returns and V for Vendetta in from Amazon. The art in Kingdom Come is unbelievable.
