Is anyone else watching this series... this is one of those that I wanted to watch when it first came on but just missed it. Well today I finally watched the entire first season (only 6 episodes). This was a very cool show. If you don't know what it's about.. it's about 4400 people who are abducted through history and all of a sudden they are returned to Earth all at once, none of them aged and don't remember anything from there missing time. But of course they are different and have certain powers. The end of season one even explains what happened and why they were taken. This is a bit different from other dramas that never answer questions and just keep asking them.   I look forward to watching season two.

Our whole family watches this series.  It is creative, cool and very mysterious!  Season three just started and we are really enjoying it so far!

Great stuff.

I've always heard it was a cool show but never seemed to have a chance to get into it.  Hopefully I can pick up the DVD's sometime and catch up.

Okay.. just finished watching the second season and all I have to say is WOW... this is such a well written show. The characters are well developed and the stories go places that I never expected. I'm so glad I finally was able to catch this series.. Now on to  the 3rd season. If you haven't seen this series.. check it out.. it's well worth your time.

Geekyfanboy

Well I just caught up with the current season of this awesome tv series... Season 4 Episode 6.

The thing that is great about this series is that it keeps changing/evolving. There is such a great storyline going on and it's being unveiled slowly but enough to keep you wanting to come back. I am so happy that I have caught up on two very cool TV series the past month or so... Kyle XY and 4400 two really cool Sci fi and Fantasy series.

Just watched the season finale of 4400 fourth season... all I have to say is WOW.. this series gets better and better with every season. You never have any idea where this is going. This finale was just the same... huge life changing events, the series is going in another whole new direction as it did with season two, season three and season four. I can't wait for the fifth season. If you are not watching this series you are missing out on some really good television.

This is such sad news... I can't believe it.

"The 4400″ Gets the Boot

Another good SF show bites the dust. Scott Peters, writer, creator and executive producer of "The 4400″ announced that the show hasn't been picked up by the USA Network for another season.

Peters' Announcement:

To all the wonderful fans of The 4400

It's with great sadness that I pass along to you the information I've just received — The 4400 has been cancelled. We've had a great time bringing you this story and submersing you in the lives of all these incredible characters. Thank you especially to the folks on the board here whose tireless devotion to the show is nothing short of remarkable. Shout out to Bubba, by the way! I love your posts, man.

I just spoke to Joel and we had a great talk about what we all accomplished and how much we'll miss our family that is our crew and our cast... and our fans. But at least we got to go out with a bang! I had an awesome time directing the last episode. I think I got to make almost every single cast member cry (on camera). How much fun was that?!

So let me raise my metaphorical glass to you all and thank you for being so loyal and so dedicated. I wish we could go on forever, but the party has come to an end. Be well and on behalf of all of us at The 4400 — thank you, it's been a pleasure.

I closely followed the show until the end of season 3, then kind of lost touch with it.  I've been debating trying to get caught up with the current episodes...

Has the last episode aired already?  If so, were they able to give the viewer a sense of closure?

****EDIT****

Never mind, I just backtracked and saw this-

QuoteJust watched the season finale of 4400 fourth season... all I have to say is WOW.. this series gets better and better with every season. You never have any idea where this is going. This finale was just the same... huge life changing events, the series is going in another whole new direction as it did with season two, season three and season four. I can't wait for the fifth season. If you are not watching this series you are missing out on some really good television.

So the show ended with a cliffhanger?

the last season was great.. the entire series was great. There was closure in a sense.. but ever season the story shift and this one was no different.

4400 Fans Plan Mass Mailing

Fans of USA Network's canceled SF series The 4400 are mounting a mail-in campaign to persuade network executives to reconsider their decision.

Inspired by successful fan mailings of peanuts (to save CBS' Jericho) and Tabasco sauce (for The CW's Roswell), fans will ship sunflower seeds, a favorite of 4400 character Dr. Burkhoff (Jeffrey Combs), in a coordinated mailing daily for a week, starting Feb. 1.

The fans have also organized an online petition, which has more than 6,000 signatures to date.

USA canceled the show in December, after four seasons. The final episode, "The Great Leap Forward," aired on Sept. 16, 2007. (USA Network is owned by NBC Universal, which also owns SCIFI.COM.)
