I thought of a cool idea for the podcast. I think it would be really cool if you covered an online Star Trek Fan Film episode like any episode from Star Trek: New Voyages or (when it comes out :sleep)  Star Trek: Of Gods andd Men.

I think it would be nice to show something from the community of Star Trek on your podcast.

I can understand if you want to focus more on the actual episodes of the show but it would be nice.

Also, I would love it if you could cover In A Mirror, Darkly for a future podcast. That was one of my favorites of my favorite Star Trek show.

I suggested something similar to Rico by email a couple weeks ago. Let's hope he does it.

That does seem like a good idea. It could address what makes a fan film successful as well as how one might relate his or her vision of a particular sci-fi universe (Star Trek, Star Wars, SG, etc) to the preexisting vision, both among its creators and its fans (i.e. other fan films).

I have covered the fan films to a degree.  Not for a full episode, but I've discussed what I thought of them, where to find them, what they are working on, etc.  Maybe I'll do a more in depth review of the new New Voyages release which should be very soon.

That would be awesome Rico. I love New Voyages, though my favorite fan film in the finished Star Trek: Hidden Frontier series. That show is really good, and even though it just finished its last 2 hour finale episode last month (it had 7 seaosns) it is going to have a spinoff. But New Voyages would really be the easiest and best to review on the podcast.
