Our son, Archer Wayne was born on June 11th, 2007 at 3:11 pm.

My wife and I were able to spend 3 wonderful days in the hospital with him before he was taken to foster care.  (He's in foster care until the Termination of Parental Rights is signed by a judge.)  We're adopting him, and he should be in our home no later than August 1st.  Now we wait.

We are allowed to see him 4 hours a week in the foster home during the legal risk period.

We are both happy and proud parents!

No, he's not named after Jonathan Archer!

Congrats IC! I'm always happy to see an unwanted child find a home where someone will love them. It's sure better than the alternative! I'm sure you will make wonderful parents!

Congrats....  Is he named after the captian on enterprise?

The IC

He's not named after Jonathan Archer, we just liked the name.

We can't wait to bring him home, especially after spending time with him on Wed.   All we need now is the court date.

We finally brought Archer home on July 26th.    His granddad is already calling him Captain Archer.

He's a good eater, and a good sleeper.  He usually gets us up between 1:00 and 2:00 am to feed, and that's about it.

and he's darn cute!

OMG... he's a cutie. Congrats, I'm so happy everything went as planned.
