Podcast #126 is all about THE OUTER LIMITS.  The classic SF anthology show from the 1960's.  This was a very fun show to cover and I think the podcast came out well.  Special thanks to Rob in Orlando for help with some of the clips.  Enjoy!   :metallica:

Oh - that's a wonderful TV show.  Can't wait to listen.

You know what would be really helpful Rico? How about when you announce the latest podcast you post a direct link in the thread so that we don't have to go chasing for it? Makes sense to me! ;)

Hmmm, well I guess I assume most of the folks on the forum subscribe via iTunes (or another podcatcher service).  It's really much easier that way than downloading the show via a link each time.
Anyway, here's the direct link to this week's podcast:

Ktrek

Well, not for me it's not. I don't have or subscribe to iTunes. I prefer to download it direct to my HD and upload it to my mp3 player later.

It is posted each week in the podcast notes and in the newsletter as well.  But those take a little longer for me to post (both are up now).  iTunes will have it the second after I upload it.  So if you don't use that service you will have to wait a little longer.  Just so you know.

Ktrek

Thanks for the link Rico. I've downloaded and will listen this afternoon if I can.

Hey Rico,  nice podcast today.  It had so many cool comments- thanks for doing such a quality show, and thanks to everyone who contributed to the show this week. I look forward to my walk on Sundays.

:)

I have been and always will be, your friend.

No problem.  I really enjoy doing the shows that feature classic TV and movies.  So many things in SF and Fantasy we see these days were influenced by these early efforts.

Cool Podcast Rico.. I'm not a huge Outer Limit fan but I did see a few of them some years ago, but I did enjoy the re-launch on the series in the 90's and did see quite a few of those epiesodes.  I'm so happy you didn't pick the best "Star Wars" audio clip or I wouldn't have won :) Thanks for doing the contests.. can't wait to get my book, which I don't have.

I always thought the outter limits was cool.  I'm much more a fan of the twilight zone, but the outter limits definetly has some amazing episodes.

I never knew so many trek actors were in it, I'll have to look for them when they air the old episodes.

Rico,

Thanks so much for including me on the Outer Limits podcast. Your right, I really do love this show and did wish you spent a little more time talking about it.

One detail I thought you would mention was the episode that turned out to be the seed for the Terminator Films and how the writer of that episode sued and won against the producers of those films and ended up being acknowledged in the credits of Judgement Day!

Never the less another great Podcast that reached from the inner mind.

I've never seen the classic Outer Limits. I've seen many of the episodes of the the 90s reincarnation. I liked many of those episodes and I still watch some of them whenever I catch them on TV.

Ktrek

I finally got a chance to listen to this show and I really enjoyed it. The Outer Linits brings back a lot of memories from my childhood being scared out of my mind! lol Thanks Rico!
