Comic Book Information

Hi All

Does anyone know any good sites for news and infromation on comic books? Ever since Rico did his podcast on Comic books, I have become more interested, but not really sure what are good series to get into. I read a Star Wars and Star Trek comic book series, but interested in reading more and different types. Any suggestions on comics that others are reading I would appreciate, or recommendations on trade paperbacks that people feel are good or essential. I see a lot of Spiderman and X-Men Trade paperbacks at the book store, but not sure if there are ones that are better then others.

I'm not a huge comic book reader these days with execption to Buffy, Star Trek and Firefly but I normally go to this site for comic book info.
