EDIT... this was originally part of the Shazam!!! thread but since we started talking about Sid and Marty Krofft I decided to split the topic and start a new topic for these great 70's kid shows.

Oh my gosh...I think I used to watch that when I was a little girl.
I thought it sounded familiar...

It reminds me of that other Sat. morn TV show called Lost World or something. It was a live action show with cavemen, some kids and a couple of adults. Yeah, cheesy stuff.
Aren't you referring to LAND OF THE LOST?

Sleestack... Chaka, Marshall, Will and Hollie????

high on the rapids, it shook their tiny raft, and plunged them down, down deep below...

to the land of the Lost... lost lost lost.....

Oh I use to love The Land of the Lost.. I use to love all the Kroff shows.

Marshall, Will, and Holly
On a routine expedition
Met the greatest earthquake ever known.
High up on the rapids
It struck their tiny raft... AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
And plunged them down a thousand feet below
To the la-and of the lost.
To the la-and of the lost.

I got the first two seasons of LotL on DVD.  My kids love them!

I used to not like Chaka at all, but watching them with my younger kids, they really like him.

The special effects hold up ok.  At the time, it was just amazing to see dinosaurs walking around that were not cartoons.  This was before VCRs and such so you had to look quick and absorb as much as possible.

Great show.
