Just got Podcast #105 up folks.  "Shuttlepod One" from Enterprise is the main topic.  There's also another excellent Father&Son review (with a song!) in this show and a Tiberius update.  Along with the new "contest" grab bag starting.  Enjoy!

Man Itunes is great when it works.. but when it doesn't :(

Tried downloading the new podcast and it downloaded about 4 minutes then said it was done (yeah right!!!).. then tried to go to itunes and it's not listed there yet. Think I'll just download directly from your website.

Kenny - do you use the latest iTunes?  Everything up to date?  You can hold shift down on the podcast listing in your podcast section to get it to relist all shows, even if you deleted one.  I never have trouble with it myself, on my podcast or the dozen or so others I listen to.  But I know some do have troubles.

Ok, here are the lyrics to the Shuttle Pod One Father and Son review...

Shuttle Pod One
by Rick & Nathan Moyer
Sung to the tune of Gilligan's Island.

Just sit right back and you’ll hear a tale
A tale of a tiny ship
That started on the Enterprise
For a little mapping trip

Debris on an asteroid
Got the officers all riled
They thought the Enterprise had crashed
So they’d be dead in awhile.
they’d be dead in awhile

“explosion”

The asteroids started getting thick,
Subspace and inside frost
If it wasn’t for the courage of Malcom and Trip,
The shuttle would be lost, the shuttle would be lost

The ship was adrift in the heavenlies
of uncharted federation space with

Maclom Reed and Tucker too
A cool prop ship and some booze
T’pal in dreams- a log recording machine
Here on shuttle pod one

The mico singularity
started to rip up the ship
Malcom was a pessimist
Recording logs that got to Trip

So this was a tale of our space cadets
They floated for a long long time
They had to make the best of things
As their air depleted in time

No phasers, no tricorder, no torp-ee-does
Not a single luxury
Like Picard and Wesley on the fountain planet
As primitive as could be.

So join us here each week my friend
You get your sci fi fill
As four whole years on UPN
The  Trek franchise pre-quel!

Been doing that for awhile.  Sometimes it works better than others.

Hey, great podcast, but here are just a few comments.

One:
You mentioned the whole nails/hair grows when your dead.  The sceintific thing with that is your skin actually shrinks and falls apart when you die, so your hair/nails don't actually grow, but it seems like it.
Two:
My opinion on Enterprise the series.
I've watched a couple Enterprise serie shows but I've felt that this Star Trek series, just doesn't match the whole Star Trek thing.  To sum it all up the show feels like Stargate.  With a futuristic, but partial military theme.  And some of the shows felt like copies off older Star Trek series (the whole plot, how its fixed, etc)  AND  Enterprise has NO Star Trek before it in the title.  WHY?  To make them unique?   Cause if thats true, it killed em.  :starwars:
Thats my opinion however.  So yea, didn't really like Enterprise.  But I liked all the others.  I'm in the process of discovering the whole Star Trek DS9 Series as I've never watched it before.

Great podcast otherwise.
