The ship boys are back with a look at the alien ships of "Star Trek."  This week Rick Moyer, Jedi Jeff & Bryan delve into the weird & alien ships from the series & films.  Big thanks to the guys again for another cool guest spot.  Enjoy the show!

I love that battle sequence, but I always thought it was weird how they all flew in such a tight formation. These are HUGE ships!

You know what's interesting watching that in HD is that a bunch of the Federation ships, especially the Galaxy class, have no name or registry.

Another great ships podcast! Ha, so true about the Ferengi Marauder having a big ol' ass...but I always really liked that ship. Cool and original design. I always thought the big sweeping aft curve echoed that ear collar thing that most ferengis wear. And the earth-tone color of the ship is very much in tune with Ferengi fashion. Anyway, awesome cast. Looking forward to the star wars ships, although I am not well versed in these.

Nice battle vid. When there is a major battle like this, I wonder why the galaxy class ships don't leave their saucer sections hiding somewhere safe? That's what the battle bridge is for! And there are plenty of phaser banks on the eng section...I don't see the curved banks adding much tactical advantage. The eng section makes a compact, powerful, MEAN warship.

I'm glad to see the Breen ships got a look in :). I was listening while driving hom and almost willing you to get to the Breen. I don't know why, I suspect it's simply that we still don't really know an awful lot about them so their ships are the most unnusual of the 'major races'.

Next up, minor ships? All those Hirogen, Kazon and other one offs from the Delta and Gamma quadrents in the various series. Actually, I seriously doubt there's enough information out there to make a go of it but if there was then I'd listen :)

I know it's unnusual here but I don't have a podcast of my own.

We are thinking it's time to move to STAR WARS, Mike. :)

Great cast guys - listened today on the way in to work.  Thanks for all the work and effort.

Yeah, I know. I don't actually think my other idea is doable but thought I'd chuck it into play anyway. I'll be as just as happy with Star Destroyers :)

I know it's unnusual here but I don't have a podcast of my own.

You guys have been doing a good job with these looking forward to hearing more. You could probably do one on just the Falcon because that ship is beyond awesome!

That was a fun podcast. I feel like a geek for knowing so many of those ships. As for a Star Wars ship show, I think you should do one or two, and do another sci-fi ship show. It'd be cool to see a show for space stations, too.
