I managed to pick one up on the cheap - using a $70 credit on Amazon to soften the price.  We hooked this up to a TV in our basement that the kids used - no cable connection just a DVD player.   Now they can stream to their hearts content.  It is a nifty device.  The only quibble I have is entering text is laborious.  Not all of these devices have a QWERTY keyboard like our Sony Google TV (hooked up to the parental TV upstairs).
