what is the worst thing you have heard about new sci fi ?

the title is a lil confusing but some people think the worst new in sci fi so far is disney doing star wars, j.j abrams doing it , and they are doing one every year beginning in 2015.
well that is bad, but i am open to a lot of things. i like j.j. abrams, i think the new trek will get good, i honesty don't know what to think of him doing star wars.
