This week on the podcast Chris and Will take us on a trip through the world of Star Trek in comics.  They cover a lot of ground and do a great job on a subject that I enjoy quite a bit.  Thanks guys for a great guest podcast!

Yes, that DVD is awesome. It covers all the comics up to Oct. 2002 which is when Wildstorm stopped publishing Star Trek.

EXCELLENT Podcast.  Makes me want to take up comics.  Chris- you almost got the DVD with all the Trek comics on it for your birthday... I assumed you had it already.  LOL!

I have been and always will be, your friend.

Well, there are more New Frontier comics than I ever realised. I knew there was at least one but hadn't heard of any more.

I've never done any comics but I have followed that book series quite closely. It has quirks that, to my mind, don't quite fit the Trek universe but if the comics are out there then I may have to look them up. Thanks for letting me know about them.

I know it's unnusual here but I don't have a podcast of my own.

Great show guys.  I had almost forgotten about the Wildstorm Trek books.  Oh, and some of the Gold Key stuff is pretty good - and it's all fun to read too.  Thanks for a cool cast!

Check these out Feathers!!

Great, thanks.

The first of these is the one I'd heard of from 'in story' references. The second set is completely new to me.

I know it's unnusual here but I don't have a podcast of my own.

Looks like I can get the IDW collection for £12 on Amazon or 1.49 for each issue in the IDW iPhone app. The latter could be tempting, especially if I pick up an iPad mini. I'm not a collector, I just want to read the story.

The older issue may be harder to get a look at.

I know it's unnusual here but I don't have a podcast of my own.

I just listend to podcast 411 last night, great podcast, relay enjoyed it.  I still remember reading the Golden Key comics of Star Trek when I was a kid growing up in the  70's.  I loved the cover art on those old comics.  after that I really never got into the latter comics of the series.  I do remember seeing a star trek comic strip in the sunday paper around 1980 or so, it showed the crew in the ST: Motion Picture uniforms.
I am going with the best information that I have.
