Got the new podcast up for this week that cover the cool, 80's TV series "The Greatest American Hero."  This is a favorite of mine and I wanted to dedicate a podcast to this fun series.  I alos talk about some other geeky subject, including some Trek talk too.  Enjoy the show!

Thanks for covering this one, Rico. Will have to get out the DVDs once again.

I was intrigued by this show when it was on the air and it really grew on me. At first glance, it seems really goofy. But when you consider that this was a show about three people on paths of discovery — the suit features, their interpersonal relationships and the week's crime — there truly is more than meets the eye.

Cool that you also mentioned "The Greatest American Heroine". I wonder how much better they would have made a series than the pilot.

I just really loved the chemistry of the stars and charm of this series.  Nice to see someone who didn't really want to be a superhero and frankly wasn't very good at it either - but still got the job done each week.

Good podcast.  I remember the theme but not watching the show.  Perhaps I was too young, or it didn't get syndicated / repeated so much on TV in the UK.  Perhaps I was just too into Knight Rider, Street Hawk, Airwolf, A Team etc to notice this one back then :)

Something I may revisit, especially if it is on Hulu and I want something light to watch.  The podcast sparked my interest in it a little.

Another one that had completely passed me by. The description certainly didn't match what I thought the show might be (which was pretty dull) but I'd have expected to at least have heard of a show like this even though I'd never seen it.

Thanks for the introduction. Another great show. Treks in Sci-Fi is now officially educational.
