If I owned a book store and 'someone' was using my back room to sell drugs, no court in the universe would find me innocent. My store, my responsibility. You telling me if you ran a business you wouldn't know what was going on with it?

This is the question that requires a day in court.  It's not true that no court in the universe would find you innocent if in fact you were innocent...it's entirely possible that an unscrupulous employee was operating their drug ring without your knowledge, and it would then be completely unfair for a government operated police force to shut down your bookstore and seize all your assets without a trial.

HA! It was a TRICK question joby!!! My bookstore would be in the Apple App store, therefore no brick and mortar location for the scallywag to solicit his (or her) illegal drugs!! Got you Mr. Monk!! :)

Jobydrone

Double HA HA!!!  The Apple App store would NEVER allow you to operate a bookstore within their own app and therefore your business model is FLAWED!  Perhaps you're looking at all this the wrong way, and the best way for you to operate your bookstore would be to offer a free book with every bag of crack cocaine your dealers sell.
