Oh yes, your points are entirely valid. The 360 is definitely the gamer's choice right now. The PS3 needs a Killer App.

I actually like that you can update your firmware in your system as they come up with new ways to pull more computing power out of the chips. If it weren't for that, Next Gen gaming just wouldn't exist.

But it would be cool if they could put patches out as PC/Mac downloads, which could then be burnt to cd. Then you wouldn't have to hook your console up to the web, especially if you don't/can't get broadband.
